The Salt Retreat is a place for you to feel the spirit, connect with others, and to learn of christ

We get it! Life is messy, beautiful, crazy, joyful and chaotic all bundled up into 24 hours each day, and usually during all of that chaos, it is hard to make time for yourself. We have curated a beautiful event to help you take a breath, re-center yourself, create space to feel the Spirit in your life and to reconnect with your Savior.

You will enjoy a variety of classes that you can pick and choose from throughout the multi-day event. Want to learn how to draw closer to Mother in Heaven? Want to pick up new skills in family history? Want to study up on the gathering of Israel? Whatever it is that you are searching for, we will have a class or roundtable for you!

The SALT Retreat consists of breakout classes, roundtable discussions, small group breakouts, catered lunch, a service project, the best SWAG, heart-stirring music and a SALT Market, where we will have Latter-day Saint women-owned businesses that you can shop from throughout the event!

"When I first signed up for SALT I figured it would be an uplifting weekend, but it was even better than I expected. I came with some questions that I had been wrestling with for a long time, and so many of the breakout sessions and testimonies/personal stories were exactly what I needed to hear. It felt like God had put the whole event together just to talk to me. I've been telling all the women in my life how amazing the experience was and I will definitely be going again next year." - Jill

"SALT is my favorite weekend of the whole year! I love the heavy dose of all things spiritual. I always leave SALT with a greater understanding of my importance as a Daughter of God. I feel closer to my Savior and my Heavenly Parents and I want to keep that feeling of closeness with me always. SALT is refreshing! It is a time to come together as women of all ages and colors in unity to learn and to worship as Daughters of God!" - Ashley

"Every time I have gone to SALT, I have known it was going to be great. What always surprises me is how much the topics that are discussed are exactly what I needed to hear for the issues and trials I am going through in that time of my life. I am always amazed by how overcome by the Spirit, I become because it's like Heavenly Father is using these wonderful ladies to reach out to me and give me the message he wants me to hear. There were a lot of obstacles in my way for me to actually get to SALT but I held on to my faith and because of that, I was able to attend. I know that is where I was supposed to be." - Kara

Frequently Asked Questions

Are babies allowed to come?

Babes in arms are most definitely allowed at SALT. We understand how difficult it is to leave a baby for a weekend, so please feel welcome to bring him/her to the Retreat. We do ask that during the classes, you sit near an exit, so if needed you can exit easily.

Where should I park?

You can either park at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center, or you can park across the street at City Creek Center. You will be in charge of your own parking fees.

I'm coming for the weekend! Where should I stay?

Will food be provided?

Yay! We can't wait to have you for the weekend! Our room block at the Marriott City Creek is sold out. There are many hotels right within walking distance from the Salt Palace Convention Center.

We believe that as women, we are constantly GIVING of ourselves. So we want to take a portion of the day and give BACK to you- in the form of food! We will be providing a catered lunch, and a small treat in the SWAG bag, but if you feel like you might need more, feel free to pack some things to tide you over!

What Covid-19 precautions will you be taking?

We will be following the health guidelines from the Salt Lake County health department at the time of the event. We will send out more information as the event gets closer.
